What we do

  • EOR (Employer of Record): Hire contingent workers as compliant employees (including payroll and benefits) globally, even without a local legal entity. Example: A Canadian company hires 3 people in Spain using Borderless Spain entity for payment and benefits.
  • AOR (Agent of Record): Ensure precise classification and mitigate liability, safeguarding talent from misclassification risks. Example: Borderless contracts with a freelancer for a customer.
  • Contractor Payments: Onboard, manage, and pay international contractors worldwide with guaranteed compliance, speed, and efficiency. Example: A New York FinTech pays seven part-time engineers in Latin America; Borderless manages approval and payment.
  • Global Payroll: Borderless ensures your global workforce is paid accurately, on time, and fully compliant, for both new and established international operations.
  • Borderless has entities in Spain, Brazil, and Germany, handling banking and payroll for companies that lack this setup.
  • Global Mobility: Simplifies global visa and immigration processes with end-to-end support (checklists, document upload, verification, expedited appointments). Example: A UK company moves 3 employees to Spain; Borderless handles the Spanish visa, then places them on EOR.

Customers over everything

Believe it or not, people at our company are put on Performance Improvement Plans if there is a pattern of them not responding to customers – we are not an average company in this regard. We work our A** off to make sure customers love us – we expect jaw-dropping experiences for our customers. Period.

In-office culture

We are a 5-day in-office culture – full-time office presence Monday through Friday is expected – we want our customer success sitting next to our product team. We’re HQ’d in Toronto.

Hard work

I am a 996 founder - it works with my life – I don’t expect this of the team, but most people at the company work Full-Plus Days (ie: in office 9-10 hours a day and online most every hour of the week)

Creating the future we want

We are venture funded but we’re happy never raising any more capital – we don’t care about vanity headlines and funding numbers. We care about our customers and being well-run – we believe in our business model and think we can build a profitable, $100M ARR business in the coming years.
